3rd Annual Ride Against Suicide: Bringing Communities Together for Mental Health & Suicide Prevention

Riding Together. Remembering Together. Supporting Those Who Continue to Fight.

On September 23, 2026, the Invisible Wounds Project will bring communities together for the 3rd Annual Ride Against Suicide, a four-day, 265-mile journey through Minnesota and Wisconsin dedicated to supporting mental health and suicide prevention.

The ride serves as a powerful reminder that no one should have to face life's most difficult moments alone. It honors those we've lost, supports those who are still fighting, and recognizes the first responders, military members, frontline healthcare workers, and families impacted by invisible wounds.

What Is the Ride Against Suicide?

The Ride Against Suicide is more than a bike ride.

It's a four-day, 265-mile journey through Minnesota and Wisconsin that brings communities together around mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

The mission behind the ride is to:

• Honor those we've lost
• Support those who are still fighting
• Raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention
• Support current and former first responders
• Recognize military members and their families
• Support frontline healthcare workers
• Remind people throughout our communities that they are never alone

Every mile represents an opportunity to start conversations, show support, and stand alongside those affected by mental health struggles and suicide.

September 23: Zumbrota Send-Off

The journey begins on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with a special send-off from Zumbrota.

Schedule:

8:00 AM – Program Start

Community members are encouraged to come together as the day's program begins and riders prepare for their journey.

9:00 AM – Wheels Rolling

The Ride Against Suicide officially gets underway with a law enforcement, fire, and EMS escort.

It's an opportunity for the Zumbrota community to come together, send off the riders, and show support for the mission behind every mile.

Goodhue Fire & Rescue Stop

After departing Zumbrota, the ride will continue to Goodhue Fire & Rescue.

Estimated Stop: 9:45 AM – 10:15 AM

This stop gives another local community the opportunity to gather, support the riders, and recognize the importance of mental health awareness among first responders and others serving on the front lines.

Goodhue County LEC Stop

The ride will also visit the Goodhue County Law Enforcement Center (LEC).

Estimated Stop: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM

The stop continues the day's focus on supporting the first responders and public safety professionals who serve our communities.

Supporting the Invisible Wounds Project

The Ride Against Suicide is organized by the Invisible Wounds Project, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting those affected by mental health challenges and suicide.

Through the Ride Against Suicide, the organization works to bring attention to an important message:

Those who are struggling are not alone.

By bringing the ride directly into local communities, the event creates opportunities for people to come together, remember loved ones, support one another, and help continue the conversation surrounding mental health.
